In 2018, Shenzhen successfully ranked among the first-tier cities in the world. With the rapid development of economy, the Shenzhen government has continuously supported the development of culture. It has turned the Cultural Expo into a cultural business card of Shenzhen. In the promotion of music and art, the Shenzhen Musical Instrument Industry Association has taken the lead in organizing the Shenzhen Musical Instrument Culture Festival from 2018 to strive to create cultural expositions in the field of music.
Guitar, as an important part of the field of musical instruments, has been playing a professional role in the Musical Instrument Culture Festival. The first Shenzhen Guitar Art Festival is a world-class event in the face of the international tide of building a new era in Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao. It is guided by China Musical Instrument Association, sponsored by Shenzhen Musical Instrument Industry Association and the Organizing Committee of Shenzhen Guitar Art Festival. It is co-sponsored by Shenzhen Guitar Association, Shenzhen Yukeri Association, Shenzhen Nanyuan Cultural Station, Longyi Education, Shenzhen Muxing Planning and Design Co., Ltd. and Youbangle Space, aiming at promoting the development of Guitar Art and promoting the world of guitar lovers and practitioners. The Guitar Art Festival is held not only to provide an international platform for guitar lovers to show themselves, but also to help the development of personality culture in Shenzhen, and to add a bright color to the exhibition of Shenzhen's charm.
The event will have competitions, concerts, master classes, lectures, handmade piano exhibitions, Shenzhen city sightseeing and other sections, which will be grandly opened in the newspaper Hall of Shenzhen Special Economic Zone on July 14, 2019. Guitar Competition
According to age and professional arrangement, senior guitar teachers and well-known musicians at home and abroad are invited to comment and score on the spot. Competitors with qualifications will be selected to compete in Shenzhen in various sub-competitions and online qualifications (the qualifications will be organized by local cooperative associations or organizations, details of which are referred to in the rules of the competition). Preliminary and final stages will be set up in the main venue (Note: Classical Guitar Gong). Activity Flow Arrangement
1. Qualification contest in sub-contest area: from April to June, athletes from all sub-contest areas in China will participate in the qualification contest. Qualified persons will be eligible to attend the festival in Shenzhen, and the Shenzhen Guitar Arts Festival Qualification Certificate will be issued by Shenzhen Music Instrument Industry Association.
2. Online Qualification Competition: From the beginning of May to the middle of June, players who are not in the sub-contest area can register for the contest by delivering playing videos. The qualifications of the contest are screened and confirmed by the online judges of the organizing committee. With the help of electronic identification codes, they can go to Shenzhen Guitar Art Festival to exchange admission tickets and participate in the festival. | Rules of Competition
1. Competitors have unlimited nationality, but they must be legal citizens; all rounds of competitions are open to the public;
2. Once the entries have been reported, they can not be changed, otherwise they will be disqualified.
3. Participants should not be late. If they are not present 30 minutes before the start of the competition, they will be disqualified (the local cooperative institutions organize the selection competitions);
4. The order of contest appearances is decided by the draw of lots. If the contestants are absent, they are drawn by the general assembly.
5. Competitors should wear formal clothes to participate in the competition and show their identification materials (ID/passport/student card/driver's license, etc.).
6. In the course of the competition, the jury and the participants will be separated by screens, and the judges can not know who the players are (to avoid factors other than music affecting the results);
7. If there is any learning experience between the competitors and the judges, they must inform the chairman of the judges before the start of the competition and arrange for necessary avoidance (otherwise, the results of the competition will be cancelled).
8. Competitors must recite music and repeat the repertoire in each round of the competition.
9. Lower or higher than the required playing time will directly affect the results of this round of competitions (handled by the jury at its discretion);
10. In the preliminary competition, the director of the on-site judges may choose to terminate the performances of the contestants (without affecting the performance of the contestants);
11. Competitors in other groups may compete in other groups if they are within the specified age range (up to 2 groups for each individual);
12. The judges will score the music works according to the interpretations of the players and the selected works. The decision made by the jury after the evaluation is the final result of the competition (the highest score and the lowest score are removed, and the final average score is taken as the final result of the competition).
13. The preliminary results will be announced on the spot after the competition.
14. Competitors must obey the organizing committee's arrangements, abide by the rules of the competition and respect the judgement results, otherwise they will be disqualified.

| Other considerations
1. The judges of the preliminary and final competitions of each project group are composed of guitar artists, professional guitar teachers and music critics (including the second round of the open group competition);
2. There are not less than five judges in each group in all the preliminary competitions.
3. There are not less than seven judges in each group of the final competitions of all events.
4. Participants will be provided with the Entry Certificate, a copy of the entry rules of the Guitar Competition and all relevant information.
5. Participants should bring their own musical instruments (the inconvenient audio and percussion instruments can be rented by the instructor to the Organizing Committee, but the rental requirements should be notified in writing to the Organizing Committee before the competition);
6. In order to ensure the order of the competition venue, all competitors can be accompanied by a relative or friend to enter the competition venue. Without the permission of the organizing committee, they are not allowed to take photographs or videos on the competition venue. The remaining accompanying personnel are required to purchase tickets to enter the competition and submit to the management of the staff.
7. All winners are obliged to participate in the concert, video and broadcasting of the winners organized by the Organizing Committee of the Competition. Those who refuse to participate are deemed to give up the awards automatically. The Organizing Committee has the right to withdraw the awards and related certificates.
8. Parents must strictly abide by the rules and regulations of the Organizing Committee and must not interfere with the normal rehearsal of the competition.
